Permaju Industries Berhad via its wholly-owned subsidiary Cergaz Autohaus and Focus Dynamics Group have inked a deal to open a showroom dedicated exclusively to open Electric Vehicles at The Arch, Kuala Lumpur.
Executive Director of Permaju, Tang Boon Koon was focused on this particular segment is due to the popularity of EV’s globally. The opening of the new state of the art digital retail concept EV showroom in the heart of the international financial district, TRX in the capital of Kuala Lumpur will be an important part of the group strategic growth plan. Pemaju is currently involved in automotive via its dealership for Ford and Volkswagen, this new expansion will be an extension of its business.
Tang plans to completely digitise the showroom with enhanced retail customer experience with touchscreens, making the entire sales and order process electronic and giving customers online payment options. They are looking to showcase more than 10 luxury and premium EV’s comprised of a variety of marquee brands from Porsche, Tesla, Rivan, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Jaguar, and others. The Company will install and manage 50 parking lots with dedicated EV DC Fast Charging Ports and may increase to 100 parking lots when the need and demand arises.
The group will also be venturing into Semi Knocked Down (SKD) to manufacture EV motor vehicles in Malaysia in 2023 and is currently in discussion with several potential manufactures in China to form a strategic partnership.
“We want to be the Telsa of ASIAN,” Tang concluded.
Focus Dynamics will provide the F&B, element into the showroom, expect to see state-of-the-art robotic MixoBot and lifestyle F&B at the premium lounge.
