China is heavily represented among the most expensive cities in Asia, with other wealthy Asian countries like South Korea and Singapore not far behind.

Overall, the four most expensive countries for international education are the United States, China, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. The countries are known for having some of the world’s best international schools.

However, ISD says, “They are known for high costs of living, particularly in the cities that feature in its top 10 rankings. These include New York, San Francisco, London, Zurich, Beijing, and Shanghai.”

Africa, for the third year in a row, is the most affordable continent for international education.

However, according to the database, there have been some unexpected changes within the region, Casablanca has dropped from 44th to 72nd place on the list of cheapest cities.
