RM 1 Million Aid For Flood Victims: Yeo’s

Yeo Hiap Seng (Malaysia) Bhd (Yeo’s), one of the leading food and beverage companies, in partnership with the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation, is extending aid worth RM 1 million to families affected by the flood to restore their homes and lives.

In a joint statement Group Chief Executive Officer of Yeo’s Samuel Koh and Director of the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation Daryl Ng says, “In these difficult times, our hearts go out to all who are affected. Many have lost so much and Yeo’s together with Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation would like to do our part and try to help and care for communities in need.

“Urgent aid is crucial for these impacted families so that they can get back on their feet and start to rebuild their lives. Let’s us continue to join hands and help make a difference.”

The initiative is organised under Yeo’s Helping Hands, the company’s CSR programme to help communities in need.

This RM 1 million aid will be mobilised through community organisations including Crisis Relief Services & Training (CREST), Methodist Crisis Relief & Development (MCRD), and World Vision who are all already actively on the ground helping these families through their operation centres at different locations.

In July this year, food pack aid to 40,000 B40 families most affected by COVID-19 was donated through several community organisations.
