WonderLab Introduces The WonderLab Group

WonderLab has introduced the WonderLab Group, a corporate group to oversee the operations of all the beauty and wellness brands under CUCKOO International (MAL) Sdn Bhd. This effectively sees the WonderLab Group leading two major in-house brands, the WonderLab brand and the WonderDewi brand, providing an even more holistic beauty and wellness solutions to Malaysians.

“At core, our passion lies in challenging the boundaries and going Beyond Standards in all that we do. this change also comes after the success of WonderLab as a beauty care retailer prior to this and WonderDewi as a brand since their establishment.” said CUCKOO International Founder and CEO, Mr KC Hoe (Hoe Kian Choon), whose company also owns the WonderLab Group and brands.

Despite being a young company that was launch in January 2020, WonderLab managed to set a record revenue of over RM11 million in 2020, an achievement that is widely contributed by the success of its in-house brand – WonderDewi.

Since the launch of WonderDewi, WonderDewi has been making waves in the beauty care segment with its first product, the WonderDewi daily masks, being sold out within a week from launch, with a mask being sold every 12 seconds. Todate, WonderDewi has sold 1 million masks. Within a short two years, WonderDewi has expanded to have more than 15 products under its wings and grew from only offering skincare products to cosmetics and vitamin drinks.

Ending The Year With A Bang: WonderLab Launches Its First Skincare Series – 블랙 Bel-aek Ageless Series

The announcement of WonderLab Group and WonderLab as a brand was made at the WonderLab 블랙 Bel-aek Ageless Secret launch event where close to 120 guests including top KOLs and Beauty Gurus also witness the new era for WonderLab as a group and brand. The list of attendees includes Nabila Razali, Han Xiao Aii, Akiyo, and Noel Faizal.

Apart from the introduction of WonderLab Group, WonderLab also took the opportunity to unveil its first skincare range which focuses on premature ageing with the WonderLab 블랙 Bel-aek Ageless Series. The pre-ageing series is formulated with the latest Korean beauty technology of Trio Black Complex, which consists of three black superfood such as black rice, black sesame, and black bean.

During the event, actress and singer, Nabila Razali, as well as Beauty Guru and Youtuber, Emily Quak, took the opportunity to share their positive experience using the WonderLab 블랙 Bel-aek Ageless Series.

There was also a Product Experiential Area where guests were invited to take a closer look at the WonderLab Bel-aek Ageless Series. Not only that, but there were also many areas for guests such as the “Wander to Timeless Youth Journey” an interactive journey that consists of stations for guests to collect gifts; an interactive workshop area for guests to make their own mocktails using WonderDewi-C Vitamin Drinks; and a “Capture Forever Youth Mirror Room” was implemented so guests can take photos and videos.
