Takaful Malaysia Appoints New Group CEO

Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Keluarga Bhd today announced the retirement of Dato’ Sri Mohamed  Hassan Kamil, who will be retiring as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Keluarga  Berhad on December 31 after spearheading the Group since 2007.  

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, Shariah Advisory Body, and the staff of Takaful Malaysia, I would like to thank Dato’ Sri Mohamed Hassan Kamil for his leadership and significant contributions to the Group. We have made substantial progress and accomplished great milestones under his stewardship, which has led to our strong financial results and exceptional growth over the years,” said Dato’ Mohammed Hussein, Chairman of  Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Keluarga Berhad.  

Takaful Malaysia also announced the appointment of Encik Nor Azman Zainal as the new Group Chief Executive  Officer (GCEO) of Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Keluarga Berhad, effective January 1 2022. 

Dato’ Mohammed Hussein said, “We are pleased to welcome Nor Azman on board as the new GCEO of STMKB,  bringing a breadth of experience from both actuarial and insurance industry background, that we believe is instrumental to stewarding Takaful Malaysia. He will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the Group’s business as we aim to scale our family takaful business to new heights and further strengthen our foothold in the industry. His expertise in insurance and takaful will help Takaful Malaysia enters its next chapter of  innovation and create a shared vision to achieve greater success.”
