It seems the Year of the Tiger turning into a ecnouring start for Nestcon, as the construction company pounces on another contract, this time awarded by Konsortium Exsim Development Sdn. Bhd for the development of an apartment block.

The company has been appointed to undertake the design, construction, completion, commission, maintenance, and guarantee for foundation works of a 39-storey building comprising 608 units apartment suite and 3 units retail shop to be erected on the land in Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur.

Nestcon Builders and Exsim will formalise the details and have agreed for the contract sum for the project fixed lump sum of RM188.5 million, and payment will be made progressively based on the actual work done as valued and certified by the architect.

After making headways in the industry with its IPO, Nestcon has been tearing the scene with multiple contracts and awards, just this year it was awarded the ECRL project by main contractor China Communication. A good start for a company that was just listed in mid 2021.
