Serba’s Legal Action Against Bursa Dismissed Orders To Pay RM30,000

With regards to Serba Dinamik’s complaints against Bursa Securities and the injunction it filed against the Exchange on the request to release its factual findings, the High Court concluded that Serba Dinamik has no standing on the injunction.

This comes from the Originating Summons Serba issued to Bursa back in November on various issues pertaining to actions taken against the company including suspension of the share trading on the Exchange.

In arriving at the decision, the court had concluded the complaints raised by Serba was completely indefensible and factually unsupported. The Judge had also ordered the company to pay RM30,000 to Bursa for bringing the case forward as it needed immediate attention.

The PN17 listed company is quickly running out of tine and avenues as it was given 2 days to present the factual findings from EY’s audit report. The judgement was passed on 7 February which mean the deadline had already passed.
