The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia has made the HASiL e-Book At A Glance available for the public for free, taxpayers can now download the e-Book via MyTax Portal at https://mytax.hasil.gov.my/ or through the MyTax Application which can be downloaded from Google Playstore or IOS Apps Store.
The 104-page e-Book contains various information on direct taxes which can be used as reference and guidance by the public and taxpayers. Some interesting contents include e-Filing, Individual Tax Relief for the Year of Assessment 2021, Income Tax Payment, Employer, and Employee Responsibility, Corporate Tax, Stamp Duty, Withholding Tax, Real Property Gains Tax, Digital Economy, and others.
This is a useful reference for those who are keen to know how to submit their filings more orderly and also to understand the various tax structures in place for both their own benefit and also for the releifs.
