Sarawak Consolidated Industries Berhad appoints two new independent and non-executive directors to its board. The newly appointed directors are Encik Noor Azri Bin Dato’ Sri Noor Azerai and Mr. Ku Chong Hong
Mr. Ku brings over 8 years of experience in audit and assurance, as well as business advisory, as he has been involved in various local and international companies in multiple industries. He is currently an Executive Director of Bintai Kinden and an independent non-executive director in both Malaysian Genomics Resource Centre Berhad and NWP Holdings Bhd.
Meanwhile, Encik Azri has experience in corporate finance and investment in equity and commodity derivatives during his stint with M&A Securities Sdn Bhd and Maybank Investment Bank Bhd respectively, involving initial public offering (IPO) exercise as well as managing portfolios of high value net worth individuals.
Currently, Encik Azri is also an executive director of Bintai Kinden Corporation Bhd and Malaysian Genomics Resource Centre Bhd as well as an independent non-executive director in both Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd and NWP Holdings Bhd.
His key achievements include returning Bintai Kinden’s earnings back into black since the first quarter of the financial year 2022 ending March 31 and he is also the founder of a UK-based company involved in investment in private companies in the United Kingdom and Europe.
