T7 Global Bhd Collaborates With Poly Technologies Inc For Security Solutions

Integrated solutions provider T7 Global Bhds wholly-owned subsidiary T7 Solutions Sdn Bhd had entered into a collaboration agreement with Poly Technologies Inc (“Poly Technologies”) to promote an instant visual drug detection system (“IVDDS”) and other security solutions in Malaysia.

T7 Global is principally involved in 3 main business divisions: Energy, Aerospace & Defence and Infrastructure Construction. On the Defence side, T7 Global specialises in security information technology (IT) solutions such as Integrated Bridge Systems (IBS) and Combat Management Systems (CMS) for the Royal Malaysian Navy. Its subsidiaries are also involved in ship repair and maintenance services for commercial and naval vessels as well as the supply of products and services to the Ministry of Defence Malaysia.

Poly Technologies is a large-scaled defence company authorized by the Chinese Government for the modernization of defence and security solutions for the Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and Anti-Terrorism. Established in 1984, Poly Technologies has developed sound cooperative relationship with more than 100 countries and regions all over the world for almost 40 years.

The IVDDS is a portable narcotic or drug detector that uses an image sensor to examine the curve of the pupil. It is easy to operate and does not require test by medical personnel. It is also compact and lightweight and efficiently gives results within 60 seconds. It is a more cost-efficient way of identifying drug users as opposed to the traditional methods which are costly and time-consuming.

T7 Global Berhad’s chairman Datuk Seri Dr. Nik Norzrul Thani Bin N. Hassan Thani said, “I would like to thank Poly Technologies for their trust in having T7 Global as their strategic partner in Malaysia and we are glad to have such a strong and credible partner. This strategic collaboration provides a unique opportunity for our Group to enhance our corporate social responsibility by serving our Nation through the introduction of IVDDS in Malaysia. Our main agenda is to assist the Royal Malaysian Police in preventing drug abuse in Malaysia.

I would like to thank YDH IG Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani, Inspector General of the Royal Malaysian Police, for his time in attending the IVDDS product demonstration at our partner’s exhibition booth in DSA 2022.

In addition, we will work with Poly Technologies on other security solutions for various security and law enforcement agencies in Malaysia with the view of modernizing our Nation’s defence equipment and systems as well as defence capabilities.”
