Tafi Industries which is primarily involved in furniture and wood base panels has been awarded an RM9.5 million contract by Alpha Asset Sdn Bhd for the construction and completion of 1 unit single storey factory and warehouse, together with 2 storey office building Telok Panglima Garang, Daerah Kuala Langat, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
The Contract Duration is 12 months and is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of TAFI for the financial year ending 31 December 2022. TAFI Group Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Bryan Wong said that securing the RM9.5 million construction contract and the earlier RM30 million construction contract for Permas City project from Buana Tunggal Sdn Bhd together with the estimated RM6 million share of the net gross development value shows that the construction business is progressing well and will contribute positively towards earnings.
He added that the group will continue to leverage on TAFI Home & Office Sdn Bhd’s G7 license issued by the Construction Industry Development Board (“CIDB”) which allows it to tender for construction projects of unlimited value to tender for higher value construction contracts from both the private sector and also government sector to further grow its revenue stream from construction contracts.
