The Board of Directors of Lien Hoe has announced the demise of its Managing Director, Dato’ Yap Sing Hock who passed away peacefully on 21 May 2022, at the age of 73.
Dato’ Yap was appointed as the Managing Director of the Company on 30 January 2002. He started his career as a building contractor before venturing into property development in the Klang Valley and Johor Bahru. He had also been active in real estate investment in Hong Kong and Singapore.
In the absence of Dato’ Yap, and with the succession planning in place, the management and operations of the Group would be led by Ms. Yap Tse Yeeng Christine, the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, assisted by the Board and the management team.
Lien Hoe adds that its business and operations will be run as usual.
