KUSKOP Is Ready To Give Loans To Book Entrepreneurs; Noh Omar

The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP) is ready to help book entrepreneurs who need loans in an effort to ease the burden of the group.

Its Minister Tan Sri Noh Omar said such assistance was appropriate as the operation of the book industry required costs to provide transportation facilities such as lorries and printing equipment.

“Entrepreneurs who are involved in the world of book entrepreneurs, I as the minister of KUSKOP will try to provide as much assistance as possible,” he said when speaking at the Closing Ceremony of the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2022 (PBAKL) at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Center (WTCKL) ), this night.

According to him, there are printing companies that are provided with equipment, printing machines & nbsp; and advertising equipment up to RM500,000 in the form of grants.

“So with the agencies that are under KUSKOP, I hope that the entrepreneurs who are involved with the world of books & nbsp; to come forward, you are all entrepreneurs that we should support,” he said.

Meanwhile, Noh said book entrepreneurs affected by the floods could apply for loans of up to RM100,000 without interest.

We still have RM100 million given by the government and if there are micro-entrepreneurs involved in (the field of book entrepreneurs) and so on, who are still affected by the floods, they can come and see KUSKOP, ”he said.
