Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced the provision of free services for a month starting today for all public transport operated by RapidKL.
The good news was conveyed by the Prime Minister in conjunction with the official opening of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Putrajaya Line Phase One, today.
The free fares include MRT, Light Rail Transit (LRT), Rapid Transit (BRT), monorail, and RapidKL buses.
“We understand the plight of the people, especially with the increase in the price of burdensome goods, and the rising cost of living.
“Therefore, in conjunction with the official opening of the MRT Putrajaya Line Phase One, I am pleased to announce the provision of free services for all public transport under RapidKL’s operation, namely MRT, LRT, BRT, Monorail, and RapidKL buses for a month starting today.
