Sunway Construction Bhd announced that it has entered into a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer Agreement (BOOT) with Sunway South Quay Sdn Bhd, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway Bhd and Engie-Sunway Dcs Sdn Bhd, a 40% owned associate company Suncon.
The BOOT Agreement signed with SSQ will bring overall benefit to ENGIE-SUNWAY from a financial perspective
SunCon Group will be able to learn and leverage on ENGIE Group’s technical competencies in providing integrated and sustainable green solution for cooling systems which will reduce carbon emissions compared with conventional cooling systems.
The Project will also accelerate the adoption of DCS technology in SunCon Group’s other projects in the future.
