Focus Point Berhad has appointed the current Secretary General at the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Development Dato Suriani Ahmad as its new Chairman.
She joined the Ministry in 2020 after being appointed by then Minister Dato Wan Junaidi, before then she was the Secretary General, Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia from 2018. Dato Suraini also held the post of Director at the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) in 2017 before her post as Secretary General, Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development in 2015.
Throughout her career journey, she was the Deputy Secretary General (Policy & Control), Ministry of Home Affairs 2014: Deputy Secretary General (Policy), Ministry of Defense 2010: Division Secretary (Policy), Ministry of Defense 2009: Manager (Corporate), PROTON Holdings 2008: Division Secretary, Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI).
