Metronic Tagets RM100 Million In 5 Years From New eCommerce Business

Metronic Global Berhad which provides end-to-end engineering and maintenance solutions in the facilities management industry has ventured into Internet of Things (“IoT”), logistics technology, and e-Commerce.

The group believes there is vast potential in its applications and the synergies with its core software will allow it to generate a potential Gross Merchandise Turnover of RM100 million in the next 5 years.

According to the group, it had invested millions of Ringgit Malaysia in developing the Services Mobile Apps, Logistic Supply Chain Management Platform, and e-Commerce Platform to enhance the operation and also ventured into new businesses. Metronic had also recently launched the Services Mobile Apps and eCommerce platform and the platform has focused on the trading of construction engineering equipment and parts, security systems, smart home products, digitalise products for the building management sector, and digital technology industry.

Besides that, the Group also continuously promotes building management services which are able to provide contractual comprehensive maintenance services or any other services for the building systems. The dedicated e-Commerce Sales team has started to launch and market the platform to potential merchants (suppliers and vendors) and looking forward to securing more Merchant On-Boarding Agreements.

Metronic believes this software enables it to diversify into new business channels in new digital industrial technology and create synergies with its core business.
