EduCity Iskandar Introduces Its International Digital Classroom Conference (IDCC 2022) This August

EduCity Iskandar announced today their upcoming hybrid educator conference that will be held at EduCity Sports Complex, themed International Digital Classroom Conference (IDCC 2022). The event consists of workshops, keynote discussions, exhibitions and talks from IDCC’s technology and strategic partner, followed by two webinar sessions – which is divided into sessions for higher education institutions and schools. IDCC 2022 is organised in a hybrid format and will be happening from August 19 to 23 2022.

IDCC 2022 was organised to support the Fast Forward Future (futureofeducation.my/) platform that was created to help industry practitioners and educational bodies gain insights into the growing trends and best practices as the industry evolves, featuring local and international speakers for a global audience.

The “digital classroom” theme is to support the tackling of global issues such as the Covid-19 curveball in the teaching and learning universe where schools, colleges and universities struggled to adapt to the new normal of primarily online learning. It also propelled institutions while educators had to ramp up their digital capabilities hastily to keep up with the changing learning trends.

Notable speakers at the webinars include University of Calgary Higher Education consultant Prof Michael Keppel, Northern Illinois University open and distance learning specialist, trainer, consultant and adjunct professor Prof Zoraini Wati Abas and INCEIF, The Global University of Islamic Finance e-learning manager Dr Ng Huey Zher among others.

IDCC 2022 announced its technology partner, Lenovo and Microsoft and media partner, TikTok. The event strategic partner consists of the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT), MARA, MyNext, Iskandar Skills, Pandai Education Group, Imagine AI, RECQA, DRZ Iskandar, Ria Academy and Consultation, Creativa, Katapult Asia, Todak Academy, EduCity Academy, Netherlands Maritime University College, Kolej MDIS Malaysia, IDRISSI International School, Newcastle University of Medicine Malaysia, the University of Reading Malaysia and Raffles University among others.

Participants can attend discussions on digital classroom that will revolve along the scoping of the following sub-topics such as:
