Malaysian Buildings Society Berhad has been given the approval to extend its talks with PNB for the acquisition of MIDF by Bank Negara Malaysia.
In a Bursa filing, the bank said BNM has given it an extension until January 5 2023 to conclude the negotiations with PNB for the proposed transaction
The bank has been a keen proponent to acquire 100% of the investment firm from Permodalan Nasional Berhad for an undisclosed amount, the intention was made clear in April this year when the Central Bank gave the parties permission to proceed with talks.
