Sarawak Cable Is Now A PN17 Company

Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad has announced that Sarawak Cable Berhad had triggered the criteria to be listed under Practice Note No. 17 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities.

The company has 12 months to produce its regularisation plan to the Securities Commission which will show significant business or policy redirection of the company towards improvement.

Sarawak Cable said it is in the midst of formulating a regularisation plan to address its PN17 status in tandem with the Proposed Scheme of Arrangement and the announcement on the same will be made in due course in accordance with the Listing Requirements.

As od date there are a total of 27 companies under PN17 and GN3 which represent 2.88% of the total number of 939 companies listed on the Main and ACE Markets of Bursa Securities.
