Sime Darby Swedish Auto Providing World-Class Services for Volvo Cars

Sime Darby Motors Centralised Body and Paint Centre located in Bukit Jelutong was recently accredited with the Volvo Certified Damage Repair Centre (VCDR) standard. Ensuring the highest quality for body repair and paint services, the world-class VCDR standard ensures that sustainable technology and state-of-the-art processes are integrated within the facility to minimise environmental impact and promote sustainable energy consumption.

The VCDR standard involves the use of a state-of-the-art body repair system and advanced tools, including a fast and highly accurate 3D sensor-equipped measuring system. An efficient paint booth setup was also put in place, creating a well-ventilated and dust-free environment. This will consistently provide the best outcome and finishing for Volvo cars.

Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director of Retail and Distribution of Sime Darby Motors Malaysia, commented, “This is part of our dedicated efforts to continuously unlock value for our customers. By integrating the VCDR standard at our Sime Darby Motors Centralised Body and Paint facility, this supports our commitment to good Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices, while ensuring that we provide world-class end-to-end services for Volvo cars.”

The VCDR programme was launched at Sime Darby Swedish Auto in Ara Damansara. In conjunction with the launch, from now until 31 December 2022, every customer who spends a minimum of RM3,000 on body and paint repair services at Sime Darby Swedish Auto will be eligible to receive free interior and exterior detailing as well as ozone cleaning worth RM1,200. Terms and conditions apply.
