Can’t Pay The Deposits To Own A Home? Selangor Has An Initiative Coming Soon

Selangor Menteri Besar would be making announcements during the tabling of the State’s 2023 Budget on assisting house buyers who are facing challenges in coming up with deposits.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari who is currently on his rounds wooing voters for the upcoming election, said the offer was one of the efforts to help people in the state own their own homes. “In the state budget that will be presented on November 25, we will offer this initiative. We will help residents increase the opportunity to get a deposit he said.

“In the past, we faced challenges of providing houses but we have now overcome that from 30,000 we have now provided 60,000 homes. However, many citizens have problems acquiring loans because of financing because they have problems coming up with the initial deposits for their dream homes. The state aims to solve this issue which the MB said will be detailed after the State Budget is presented.

Selangor is one of few states that has managed to gain a surplus in its 2022 Budget, it has also not dissolved the state assembly meaning there will be no change of MB even if Amirudin loses in Gombak where he is contending.
