MGM Casino Macau Locks Down After Dealer Contracts Covid-19

MGM Cotai Macau operated by MGM China went into lockdown after one of its dealer was infected with the Covid-19 virus, Macau follows mainland China’s Zero Policy with Hong Kong have been practicing strict guidelines when it comes to infection.

Although no official statement was released by MGM, according to sources reported by Inside Asian Gaming, government health workers were seen leaving and entering Cotai Macau.

The closure comes after Macau detected its first coronavirus case this month after having no cased for more than three months. The infections came ahead of a planned resumption of inbound tours from mainland travelers in November after a hiatus for two and a half years.
