AAX Given Extension To April 2023 For Regularisation Plan

AirAsia X which is listed under PN17 has managed to secure an extension to submit its regularisation plan from Bursa Securities to April 2023, giving the airline another 5 months to work on its plan to exit from the financial stress.

In a filing to the Exchange, AAX informed investors that AmInvestment Bank Berhad which is assisting the group on the regularisation plan said that Bursa Securities had, vide its letter dated 1 November 2022, granted the Company an extension of time up to 28 April 2023 for AAX to submit its regularisation plan to the regulatory authorities. 

The latest announcement also comes on the back of Group Chief Executive Officer, Tan Sri Tony Fernandes stating his exit from the airline to focus on Capital A.
