Bursa Closure For GE15 Polling

The Malaysian Stock Exchange will be closed on Friday 18 November as the day was declared a public holiday by caretaker Prime Minister Dato Sri Ismail Sabri for Malaysian citizens to exercise their rights to vote during the 15th General Election.

With the voting date set on 19th November, the Prime Minister had declared both days as public holidays, Bursa Malaysia Berhad and its subsidiaries will be closed in conjunction with the ‘special holiday’.

Operation of the exchange and trading will resume on 21st November.
