Standard Chartered Online Banking System Down

Standard Chartered Malaysia’s online banking system has been down since morning with customers unable to log in or conduct any transaction via mobile or desktop.

The notification on the screen informs that Standard Chartered Online banking is temporarily unavailable, meanwhile, users have been posting comments on SCB’s social media page.

The bank has asked customers to call the service line for emergency cases like lost or blocked credit cards.

“As we are currently experiencing a high volume of requests due to queue, we apologise if you experience any processing/assistance delay. We believe that clients are able to block cards directly from online banking or can select the options to report ‘Lost/Stolen’ card once call our hotline without the need to wait.

The credit card will automatically block once the report is submitted.

Alternatively, you may proceed to access Online Banking via a desktop/laptop browser or smartphone web browser and click to chat, (operating hours from 9am – 12am, Monday to Sunday) for further assistance.”
