The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, representing the American Institute of CPAs and The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (AICPA & CIMA), held a special virtual recognition ceremony on 1 December to recognise the achievements of 12 CGMA candidates studying for CIMA’s CGMA Professional Qualification in South East Asia. The candidates from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Myanmar achieved the highest CIMA’s CGMA exam scores in 2021/22 in the region, bringing them a step closer to earning their Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation, the most widely held management accounting designation in the world.
