Analabs Acquires Another RM22 Million In Maybank Shares

Analanbs which announced that it had shares in Maybank back in August for investment purposes, has again acquired another RM22 million in the banking giants.

The company which is listed on the main market is mostly involved in industrial products and services. From August to December Analabs announced that it had acquired quoted securities in Malayan Banking Berhad with the aggregate
purchase consideration amounting to RM22,783,236 exceeding the 5% audited consolidated net assets as of 30 April 2022.

The acquisitions were carried out with the intention of deriving dividend income and potential capital gains.

MBB’s net assets and net profit attributable to the shareholders of the company based on its latest published audited accounts for the financial year ended 31 December 2021 were RM85.811 billion and RM8.096 billion respectively.

The acquisitions were funded by the Group’s share margin account.
