Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of engineering and project management consultant HSS Engineers Berhad (HEB Group) Puan Ir. Sharifah Azlina Bt Raja Kamal Pasmah has entered the prestigious circle of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations as an Honorary Member.
She was nominated by The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia in 2020 in recognition of her contributions to Women in Science, Engineering & Technology, outstanding greatness of spirit, integrity and devotion to the engineering profession, and outstanding services towards nation building.
The ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations limits the number of Honorary Member nominations to only 10 per year.
Puan Ir. Sharifah Azlina received the award at the 40th Conference of ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (CAFEO 40) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 7 December 2022.
Tan Sri Ir. Kuna Sittampalam, Executive Vice Chairman of HSS Engineers Berhad said, “Puan Ir. Sharifah Azlina’s conferment into the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations is certainly well-deserved, in light of her tremendous commitment and expertise in various urban transportation projects including the Iskandar Bus Rapid Transit, the Kuala Lumpur 2040 Master Plan, and numerous environmental safeguard endeavours.

Furthermore, Puan Ir. Sharifah Azlina was the only woman Council Member of the Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia Session from 2019 to 2022, and currently serves as Council Member of Malaysia Rail Industry Corporation and Member of the Board in Board of Engineers Malaysia since 2022.
