If the finals between Argentina and France at the World Cup 2022 weren’t exhilarating enough, the temperature at Sime Darby Property’s (“SDP”) organised World Cup Finals 2022 Live party reached a fever pitch with over 1,000 plus residents and communities making their presence felt at one of the most exciting events ever in Putra Heights.
Guests turned up as early as 6 pm for the specially curated event organised by SDP and Reach Publishing, packed with fun-filled events from the get-go, there were activities for all members of the family including Argentina or France flag face painting, penalty shootout, photo wall, popcorn, ice cream corner and food trucks to appease the late-night hungry fans.
Held at The Glades Plaza in Putra Heights, the event was a social exercise by the developer as a gesture to thank residents who have stayed by SDP over the years. SDP aims to create a different lifestyle living experience and countless memorable events to the community living at SDP townships and this live party is only one of the many exciting events that will be activated in future. Many who turned up were thrilled to see the setup that mimics a football carnival and was appreciative of the games that catered for all walks of life. Those who came early were given special surprises in the form of goodies and F&B vouchers which they can utilise at the various food truck for free meals.
Guests were also invited to check out the latest launch in Putra Heights mainly The Serenade at The Glades and special preview of Serasi Residences at Putra Heights Sentral. Surprise visitors included the Harley Davidson Club members who made a pit stop and never left until the final whistle. Fans who packed the large clear tent dressed in the 32-team national flag and other world cup-themed paraphernalia watched the final battles on a large 10 x 20 LED panel with cinema-quality sound effects.
Needless to say, guests did not leave or get off their seats until 3 am and even stayed on after the trophy was handed to champions-led Lionel Messi. But only before they collected the fantastic prizes that were generously given away at the event, among them were, Coca-Cola-sponsored drinks and FIFA World Cup merchandise, Decathlon gift vouchers, Domino discount vouchers, BadLab personal care kits, and a Special Celcom home fibre promotion for Putra height residents.
