The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission has welcomed the appointment of Datuk Muhammad Azmi Mohd Zain as the new Interim Chairman of MCMC effective 5 January 2023.
Datuk Muhammad Azmi took over the leadership of MCMC from Interim Chairman Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Fateh Din who resigned on December 2022. Datuk Muhammad Azmi is an Administrative Officer and A diplomat with extensive experience in the public sector for 26 years in various ministries and government departments. Currently, he is the Director General of the Department of Federal Lands and Mines (JKPTG)under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment, and Climate Change.
