Maxis, U Mobile, CelcomDigi To Announce Unity Package Plans Soon

Since the announcement by the Minister of Communication and Digital, Fahmi Fadzil on Pakej Perpaduan Jalur Lebar Tetap (Fixed Internet Broadband Unity Package), all telcos have given their support to reduce their plan pricing in line with the government’s initiative to make fixed broadband affordable for the B40 segment of the society.

The initiative is to provide access to affordable broadband services to targeted segments mainly the B40 community, persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and veterans.

Maxis, CelcomDigi, and U Mobile have all issued a statement being committed to supporting the Government’s agenda to make connectivity a basic utility and accessible to all.

So, far only Time dotCom has detailed its pricing for those communities living in the public housing projects by offering an approximate 30% discount giving an indication how what the discount structure could be like.

The mobile network operators with fixed broadband plans said they will announce the details of the Unity Package soon.
