Bursa Slips Into Downtrend At Midday

Bursa Malaysia remained on a downtrend at midday on Friday (Feb 24), ahead of the tabling of the revised Budget 2023 at 4pm.

At lunch break, the benchmark FBM KLCI had slipped 9.22 points to 1,448.43, from Thusday’s closing at 1,457.65. 

The key index opened 1.01 points firmer at 1,458.66, subsequently moving between 1,448.09 and 1,460.19 throughout the morning session.

On the broader market, losers led gainers 532 to 281, while 362 counters were unchanged, 1,060 untraded, and 28 others suspended.
