Effective March 2 Digi.com Will Be Listed As CelcomDigi On Bursa

The Exchange has confirmed that effective March 2, Digi.com will no longer exist on the stock exchange ticker and instead will be under its new name CelcomDigi, its new stock short name is CDB.

Bursa said the company’s shares will be traded and quoted under the new name with effect from 9:00 a.m., Thursday, 2 March 2023 however the company’s Stock Code will remain unchanged.

Digi merged with Celcom after parent companies, Telenor and Axiata agreed to merge the two telcos in an effort to become a dominant player in the Malaysian mobile network space. Upon which the entities became the largest local listed technology company on Bursa Malaysia. On a pro forma basis for the financial year 2021, Celcom Digi will serve an estimated 20 million customers, with revenues of RM13.0 billion, and an EBITDA of around RM5.8 billion. The company remains committed to the previously announced synergy target of RM8 billion.
