Bursa Malaysia ended the morning trading session higher on Monday (March 6), on continuous buying support, led by plantation and energy counters.
At 12.30pm, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) edged up 1.35 points to 1,454.90, from Friday’s closing of 1,453.55.
The key index opened 5.22 points better at 1,458.77.
The market breadth was positive with advancers outpacing decliners 390 to 339, while 383 counters were unchanged, 1,107 untraded, and 11 others suspended.
Turnover stood at 1.53 billion units worth RM847.84 million.
