Bursa Malaysia ended the morning trading session slightly higher on Wednesday (March 22), taking its cue from the positive Wall Street performance overnight.
At lunch break, the benchmark FBM KLCI had gained 0.86 of a point to 1,407.41, from Tuesday’s close at 1,406.55.
The market bellwether, which opened 2.05 points higher at 1408.60, moved between 1,406.51 and 1,413.52 throughout the morning session.
Market breadth was positive, with gainers leading losers 416 to 344, while 385 counters were unchanged, 1,128 untraded, and seven others suspended.
