MYAirline announced another milestone – it has flown its 500,000th passenger this morning. This remarkable accomplishment was attained just over four months after the airline first took to the skies in December 2022. Besides being a positive indication on the travel industry, it is also a testament to the dedication and hard work of the MYAirline team, who have worked tirelessly to provide exceptional service and a memorable travel experience for all passengers.
The passengers traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu on Z9 8801 flight, were pleasantly surprised to receive a special welcome at the boarding gate in Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2. To mark this momentous occasion, they were greeted by MYAirline crew with goodie bags for all passengers. While on board, the lucky 500,000th passenger received a pair of complimentary return air tickets to any destination with MYAirline.
MYAirline flew the Kuala Lumpur – Kota Kinabalu route on a full load that had arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Since its first inaugural flight launch on 1 December 2022, MYAirline has debuted eight domestic routes within Malaysia.
