The development of the Shah Alam Sports Complex is expected to drive the potential of athletes through the provision of world-class facilities said Sports EXCO Mohd Khairuddin Othman.
He added the complex will not only replace the Shah Alam Stadium but provide a sporting environment for all athletes”I am confident that the construction of KSSA will have a good effect because among the facilities provided is space for our athletes to train there. “Most importantly, Selangor can build the right sports atmosphere because the area is suitable for us to develop as a state sports center,” he said.
According to Mohd Khairuddin, the discussion for the development of KSSA is now in the final stages before it is officially launched by Dato’ Menteri Besar. Previously, Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari informed that the redevelopment of KSSA involving an area of 76.08 hectares will begin in the first quarter of this year.
