Bursa Turns Higher At Midday

Bursa Malaysia ended the morning session higher on Tuesday (April 11), boosted by the positive regional market performance, said a dealer.

At 12.30pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) improved by 1.54 points to 1,429.67, from Monday’s close of 1,428.13.

The barometer index opened 0.99 of a point higher at 1,429.12, and traded between 1,426.50 and 1,430.74 during the morning session.

The market breadth was positive as gainers surpassed decliners 371 to 347, while 410 counters were unchanged, 1,105 untraded and 13 others suspended.

Turnover stood at 1.82 billion units worth RM854.93 million.
