UEM Sunrise Berhad has announced that it has successfully completed the issuance of a total of RM340 million in nominal value of IMTNs (“New IMTNs”) under the IMTN Programme.
The New IMTNs it said were issued in three tranches. The first tranche has a tenure of one year, while the second tranche has a tenure of two years. The third and final tranche of this issuance has a tenure of five years. The New IMTNs will mature on 15 April 2024, 14 April 2025 and 14 April 2028.
The property developer will be using the proceeds from the New IMTNs for general corporate purposes including acquisition of land banks; acquisition of company(ies); investments (including capital injections into UEM Sunrise’s subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures companies); project development cost and infrastructure cost; capital expenditure; general expenditure; and refinancing of Islamic financing/outstanding loan facilities
