Supermax non-executive director Ms Cecile Jaclyn Thai 35, who is the daughter of Dato’ Seri Thai Kim Sim and Datin Seri Tan Bee Geok, the Director and major shareholder of the company has resigned over a disagreement with the board.
In a Bursa filing the company said Cecile expressed dissenting voice on several matters discussed at the Board meetings, however, the decision was carried by a majority vote.
She holds a direct Interest in 211,258 Shares in the company. Cecile is also the founder of Aveo Vision which offers a subscription service for regular contact lens users, granting them access to contact lenses enhanced with an aqua lock technology that is safe for the eyes.
