The Inland Revenue Board has informed that the deadline for the physical form submission for personal tax assessment Year 2022 is April 30 and May 15 for e-Filling.
According to the IRB statement, the submission deadline covers taxpayers in the categories of Resident Individuals (BE), Resident Individuals (knowledgeable / specialized workers) (BT), Non-Resident Individuals (M), Non-Resident Individuals (knowledgeable workers) (MT), Organizations ( TF), Estate (TP) and Allied Hindu Family (TJ).
For guidance on the BN submission, taxpayers can refer to the BN Filing Program for 2023 which can be accessed online. ” The statement also informed that taxpayers are advised to submit their BN and pay the balance of their income tax within the prescribed period to avoid any penalties and tax increases.
As precautionary, taxpayers are also advised to fill in accurate and up-to-date personal and banking information to help the tax refund process to be smooth.
