Pekat Bags RM29.1 Million Solar PV Project In Johor

Public-listed solar company, Pekat Group Berhad has secured a solar PV project for the contract sum of RM29.1 million in Johor. 

The job was handed over by D&Y Textile (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd to design, supply, install, test and commission grid-connected solar PV systems under Self Consumption scheme at three of its facilities in Sedenak Industrial Park, Kulai, Johor. 

Incorporated in 2013, D&Y Textile is principally engaged in the business of spinning, waving, knitting and dyeing of textiles products. The entire project is scheduled to be completed within an eight-month period by December 2023.

With this new win, Pekat has successfully increased its order book to RM223 million.
