Labour Day, celebrated across the world today, is an honour to all workers who have been the pillar of the country’s economic development and prosperity for a long time.

Human Resource Minister V. Sivakumar said in recognising the importance of the role of workers as determinants of productivity levels, the celebration of Labour Day continues to commemorate the contribution workers have made towards the economic development of the country. Without workers, all the Government’s plans under the Malaysia Madani Agenda will definitely not come true.
