Bursa Ends Morning Session On Positive Note

Bursa Malaysia ended the morning trading session on a good note on Monday (June 12), tracking Wall Street’s strong performance overnight, as market investors remained cautious ahead of the US Federal Open Market Committee meeting this week.

At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI had gained 13.19 points to 1,389.27, from 1,376.08 at last Friday’s close.

The key index opened 1.53 points firmer at 1,377.61 on Monday morning.

The broader market was positive, as gainers led decliners 386 to 340, while 405 counters were unchanged, 1,113 untraded, and 12 others suspended.

Turnover stood at 1.64 billion units worth RM812.87 million.
