PC.com Awards 2023: Maxis – Best Data Service Provider

Reliable and fast Internet connectivity on the go at affordable prices has become a necessity. As a leading integrated telco, Maxis is committed to providing the best data service and connectivity experiences to its customers. Its All-Ways Connected network has a longstanding history of providing high-quality services trusted by Malaysians since 1995. Given the ever-changing demands for data, connectivity and digital solutions, customers can be assured that Maxis is constantly elevating its products to meet its customers’ increasingly digital lifestyles.

“We are honoured to receive the ‘Best Data Service Provider’ award, which is a reflection of our customers’ trust in us and our commitment to providing them with best-in-class solutions. Their feedback and constant engagement have helped us shape our services to deliver even more value. In this data-driven world, we continue to leverage our strengths in network and innovative offerings in mobile and fibre broadband to provide our customers with the best digital experiences,” said Loh Keh Jiat, Maxis’ Chief Marketing Officer.

In meeting the demands for internet connectivity, Maxis recently upgraded its Postpaid mobile plans with additional data. These plans now include anywhere from 60GB (Maxis Postpaid 98) to 120GB (Maxis Postpaid 188) of data per month. For customers who need Internet access at home, the Maxis Family Plan provides them with the Maxis Home Fibre bundle, so they can enjoy unlimited data on their mobile lines while surfing high-speed Internet at home. Customers can select the most appropriate Maxis Home Fibre plan according to their household size and access the latest device that Maxis offers.

Meanwhile, Hotlink customers now also enjoy a richer surfing experience, with enhanced mobile plans introduced since February 2023. The new plans provide more Internet quota that can be used for high-speed Internet access with no speed cap, which can be used for all apps (and for mobile hotspot as well). The Hotlink Pantas Internet Pass starts at 15GB for RM25, up to 40GB for just RM45. For unlimited data, the Hotlink Unlimited Pass provides unlimited Internet access for RM40 at a speed of 3Mbps, and for RM60 at a speed of 18Mbps, both with uncapped high-speed Internet access from 2am to 2pm every day. Hotlink Postpaid customers also benefit from more data, with a 50GB allocation on the Hotlink Postpaid 60 plan.

In addition to more data quota, all Hotlink subscribers can enjoy free access to English Premier League live matches, attractive discounts on movie tickets, free in-game items for Mobile Legends Bang Bang, and exclusive partner deals via the Hotlink app. Hotlink Rewards now offer over 300 deals from lifestyle, F&B, travel and services brands.

The imminent arrival of 5G brings forth the next wave of high-speed connectivity and immersive experiences.

“We recognise the economic benefits that 5G will bring to all Malaysians. We will fully leverage our resources, skills, and infrastructure to build a 5G network of the highest quality and reliability. We look forward to providing 5G-related products and services to our customers soon, with a focus on affordability and adoption,” Loh added.
