APU was named as the PC.com Best Tech University during the awards ceremony held on 22nd June 2023. Describing the award as a significant achievement for the University, Datuk Parmjit Singh, the CEO of APU, also added that the award recognises APU’s vision and firm commitment to transform students into highly-employable professionals, and is another proud addition to APU’s collection of over 500 prestigious local and international awards.
This prestigious recognition not only celebrates the best amongst industry players, but also symbolises APU’s leadership as a tech university and its resilience and growth during the recent global pandemic.
Aligning with this year’s theme, “Towards A Digital Nation,” APU ticked all the right boxes in winning the Award. Through a unique blend of technology, innovation, and creativity, APU has achieved a solid track record over the years in effectively transforming students into highly-competent, employable, and future-proof professionals, according to Datuk Parmjit.
APU holds the distinction of being amongst the first Premier Digital Tech Institutions (PTDI) appointed by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), due to its proven track record of producing high-quality graduates for digital tech-based high-value jobs. APU was also awarded the Outstanding Faculty Award 2022 as a PDTI by MDEC, as announced on 15th February 2023.
