Sunway University celebrated US Independence Day with some real American pazaz as the United States Ambassador to Malaysia, Brian D. Mcfeeters, Chris Hill, Chief Strategy Officer and Head Of Asia Pacific of Cintana Education, Professor Dato’ Dr Elizabeth Lee, Group Chief Executive of Sunway Education Group and Professor Sibrandes Poppema, President of Sunway University all came together to enjoy a thrilling All American show on the campus.
The celebration featured dance performances by talented staff and students from the Sunway University School of American Education. These performances showcased the vibrant American culture and its rich diversity, providing a memorable experience for all attendees to the 4th of July Celebrations.
In conjunction with this joyous occasion, Sunway University also took the opportunity to announce the official renaming of the Sunway University Centre for American Education to the Sunway University School of American Education. This renaming reflects the institution’s growing commitment to US studies and its dedication to enhancing the educational experience for students pursuing an American-style education in Malaysia and ensuring that students can transfer seamlessly to America to complete their studies.
The American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP), offered by the School of American Education, enjoys a remarkable reputation when it comes to providing students with a flexible credit transfer system and a globally recognized transfer degree. It is with immense pride that we share over 75% of ADTP students successfully transfer to prestigious Tier 1 universities in the United States, further strengthening the relationship between Sunway University and American Education.
