IJM has announced that it will close the NPE Highway for its second leg of the IJM Allianz Duo Highway Challenge, NPE Highway Challenge which goes along the stretch of the New Pantai Highway (NPE).
The 21KM half marathon, 10KM and 5KM fun run race categories will begin at the Sunway Pyramid all the way to Templer and Kuchai Lama before turning back to Sunway. The first leg had been held at Besraya on 21 May 2023. The duo highway challenge is held in collaboration with IJM Corporation Berhad and Allianz Malaysia Berhad as title sponsors.
New Pantai Expressway Sdn Bhd (NPE) announced that the NPE highway will be temporary closed to motorists starting from KM 1.8 (KL Bound) and Sunway Pyramid at KM 1.8 (both directions) all the way to Kuchai Interchange at KM 16.9 and Pantai Dalam at KM 11.2 heading towards Bangsar in both directions. The closure will begin from 2am and the highway will be fully
reopened by 11a.m. on 09 July 2023, Sunday morning.
