KLCI Ends Morning Session Higher In Line With Upbeat Regional Market Performance

Bursa Malaysia’s main index ended the morning trading session higher on Tuesday (July 11), in tandem with regional markets’ upbeat performance.

At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI had risen 2.51 points to 1,385.57, from 1,383.06 at Monday’s close.

The key index opened 3.03 points higher at 1,386.09 on Tuesday morning, and moved between 1,385.03 and 1,388.78 throughout the morning session.

However, the broader market was slightly negative, as decliners edged past gainers 363 to 358, while 399 counters were unchanged, 1,130 untraded, and 16 others suspended.

Turnover stood at 1.49 billion units worth RM821 million.
